20th August 2012. Today the groundworks men dug the trenches and put the sewage pipes in, here are some pictures.

Higher and Higher!

17th August 2012. Today the brick layers built the walls even higher, the house really looks like a house now.  Here is a picture.

The car pitt collapsing

16th August 2012. Today when Bob and Sandy helped the concrete man to pour in the floor for the garage, the weight of the concrete was too much and car pitt walls collapsed in. Bob asked me to call dad to see it, when he got there they thought about what they could do until dad, bob and sandy made a decision that they will dig out the rubble and concrete before it sets and build a new car pitt. The walls are going up!

Georgie's and Fran's bedroom

14th August 2012. Today the walls of Georgie's and Fran's room have gone up even higher the bricklayers also started building the walls around the front window. It's really exciting to see the house walls being built.

13th August 2012. Today the bricklayers started to build the outer walls on Fran's and Georgie's bedroom. They look very smart. Also, mum has been packing up the house because we just found out we have to move out the house this saturday.

9th August 2012. Today the brick layers did the inner walls it was amazing to see the building go up. Also the three brick pallets were taken to the house because the are going to be used soon. Here are some pictures.

8th August 2012. Today a lot happened because now all the DPM (it is plastic for the floors to keep the damp out) is in place and the concrete was poured however the workers still haven't totally finished the floors yet. The diggers also have tackled making a car pitt so if the cars are broken dad could get under neath them and fix them. Here are some pictures.

7th August 2012. Today the workers put the sewage pipes in and then put sand on them they did this so that tomorrow they would be ready to pour the flours in. Here are some pictures.

Making rubble

4th August 2012. Today dad destroyed the front doorstep, it was super loud. He then used the rubble to  
help make the floors higher. So now our front door leads to a pile of rubble. He also started making a hole for the pipes to go through for the new toilet, there is now a massive hole in our hall way. Fran and George have been away at grandmas so when they came they got a shock especially Fran because her bedroom was gone and had to be moved to ours.
